ABOUT SHABAZZ BARBER & STYLING COLLEGE
Our History
Shabazz Barber and Styling College was founded in 1995 by Mrs Karen Shabazz and her 3 sons Naim, Abdul and the late Jamal Shabazz. The college has been providing quality education to aspiring barbers and stylist for over 30 years. Our graduates have gone on to work in and own some of the top salons and barber shops across the country, and we're proud to have played a part in their success.

Our mission is to develop confident, skilled and purpose driven beauty and barber professionals through hands on education and real world training. We empower our students with tools, mindset and successful careers. We are committed to cultivating leaders who elevate the industry and impact their communities.
Our Curriculum
At Shabazz Barber and Styling College, we offer hands-on training with experienced instructors, state-of-the-art equipment, and a supportive community of barbers. Our curriculum includes marketing, business, both traditional and modern techniques, ensuring that our graduates are prepared for any job in the industry.
Our Instructors
Our instructors are experienced barbers and stylist who are passionate about teaching the next generation of professionals. They bring a wealth of knowledge and real-world expertise to the classroom, and are committed to helping our students succeed. Together our instructors have over 100 years of experience.
